The jurisprudential doctrine insists (or insisted) that what is necessary is a “velle non” I do want a marriage without assuming the obligation of the right of having children. Contraception is sinful but it doesn’t render null the marriage. Neither wanting the marriage as the Creator has designed and then not having children (for whatever reason, sinful, rightful or pious)

Very clear article. “Therefore, not wanting children is not in itself an invalidating factor; though it could prompt further investigation as part of the nullity process, it cannot be the reason for the declaration of nullity if an affirmative decision is given”.
