From MusicaTevere.com:
Back by popular request, Musica Tevere will again accompany a solemn Choral Stations of the Cross at two area churches. The devotion of the Stations of the Cross will be prayed with meditations composed by St. John Henry Newman and music of Passiontide performed by Musica Tevere’s chamber choir. The sung meditations on the journey from station to station will include a traditional Polish Stabat Mater tune in an arrangement for men’s voices by Bartosz Izbicki, music of Monteverdi, and other small but rich musical jewels in honor of the suffering Christ and His holy Mother. The attending congregation will be invited to join in singing the hymn verses that bookend the devotion.
